As you may know, at 3:30 am on December 16th a fire started in Medardy's apartment.  As the above photo of his bedroom shows, it is entirely gone and the rest of the place suffered extensive, heat, smoke and water damage.  He was out of town at the time and all the other residents of the building are safe.    He lost all of his clothes, most of his furniture, houseware, kitchen goods, and much art and antiques.  Your support will help him during the months he is unable to live at his apartment and at the time he moves back in.  Funds donated here go directly to him, minus a small service fee.  If you prefer your donation can be made anonymous here.  You can also send him something directly as well.  If you have questions about this effort feel free to contact me, Matt Levine.  Otherwise Medardy would love to hear from you.
