There is a serious lack of resources for students to be environmentally conscious while living in off campus student housing.
Green House provides valet recycling for students in order to keep our city and world clean. We also incentivize students to recycle by a points system. Students earn points for recycling and these points can be redeemed for offers with community partners. The app will also have a section where students can reference to see what things can and cannot be recycled. On top of helping the environment, we also want to help create jobs. We are for students, by students and a student can potentially make up to $500 in a day with our app. The biggest hurdle we face is the cost of app development which is around $30-$40K. Once we get the app developed we can get it into student housing and give students the option to be green.
