Lotus Childrens Home Nepal
My son visited the orphanage on his gap year in 2011 and sent me a text which said "mummy, they have no water, no electricity, they have nothing and they are so happy, I cannot do very much for them but may be you can" He was 18.
He is now 22 and we keep on doing this work together.
One month later I arrived in Kathmandu and since then I have been back every year.
They need so much love and to know they are not forgotten.
Their landlady takes away everything they have, she steals the water from the well, she rents the yard to a garage so the children have nowhere to play.
The money I raise pays for the food and education for the 15 children. We need so much more.
We are raising this money for the orphanage to move home. The children need a new place away from people who are exploiting them.
In the long run we would like to welcome more orphans in our Home in Kathmandu and also give them the gift of Education and the Chance to be part of a loving Family.
Thank you for your donations we are all sharing the same planet some are more lucky than others.

Two of us are here are here in Nepal after the earthquake of april 2015. Our names are Eve and Joelle we come from France.
The situation is catastrophic 1 kg of powder milk for a baby is $20. There is no gaz, no electricity, no fuel to run cars or to cook. Laxmi used to buy food for the 10 children aged 5 to 16 wholesale now all the food is bought on the black market which is very expensive. Moreover Laxman's mother died just as we landed in Nepal and he has to stay in the temple with his close family in confinement he cannot go out and cannot help run the orphanage.
Thank you so much for gofundme.com for all you do. Via this website The Lotus Childrens Home Nepal has received some help after the earthquake. Unfortunately it was only the start. There is a lot of devastation here. Please help us to help them.

It has been over 3 weeks since the earthquake first hit Nepal. Since then there has been many tremors and other earthquakes. The children at Lotus are still sleeping outside but their life is better thanks to your donations. We have been able to send a rescue team to them to check on their welfare. They are ok so stressed, frightened about the future. Where will they leave ? How long can they stay outside ? The rainy season is just round the corner. Please donate today. On behalf of the children thank you.
