Nicaragua Mission Trip!
I know. It seems like there are a million causes around the world to donate to these days! Technology affords us the the opportunity to hear about needs everywhere. Well this need is important to me, and therefore I'm asking that you would support me! I follow the belief that we should "do for one what we wish we could do for all." Would you please help?
Our youth group has been actively serving orphans in Nicaragua for the past three years through the ORPHANetwork. Every team member going on this trip is responsible for raising their own funds, including leaders!
Most importantly, we don't just want to be the type of group that spends a lot of money to go on a mini-vacation to visit an underdeveloped country, take pictures, feel good about ourselves and then leave, all under the name "mission trip!" Therefore our youth group actively raises money to feed orphans in Nicaragua year-round! This trip is an opportunity to connect with those we are continually serving.

WHY? James 1:27 says "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
