Grant Beach Family Assistance
Donation protected
Tuesday evening the 21st of March our neighbors in Grant Beach Park suffered a horrible tragedy. We came home and found the entire neighborhood under lockdown. Earlier in the afternoon there was a disturbance across the street from our house, another neighbor called 911 resulting in a standoff with the police. Hours later the police entered the home and found our neighbor Dustin had taken his own life.
He leaves behind grown children, a wife and young grandchildren they were raising.
We have a great group of people from Life 360 Church, Redeemer Church, Vineyard Church, Hope and Anchor Church, and many others that will be helping with meals and other needs. The home was tear-gassed, several windows are broken and the front and back doors are destroyed. Most of the personal items will need to be disposed of due to the tear-gas hazard. The family is not likely to continue living there.
We are seeking to help them with a rental down payment for a new home, first month's rent, new clothes, toys for the kids, food, etc.
