Tragedy Strikes in 3’s
Just when you think one family could not possibly be dealt another blow, a third tragedy has taken place. One year ago, Wade and Susan Parrish's son, Seth, was in a near fatal car accident. He's gone through months of severe pain on his road to recovery, physically and emotionally, and continues that painful journey as of today. Just as Seth has literally been able to get back on his feet, another tragedy struck the Parrish family.
Two months ago, their daughter, beloved sister and close friend to many, Jesse Parrish, committed suicide after dealing with an array of health complications. She was an officer for the Arlington Police Department and had recently completed her Master's Degree from Tarleton State University. This event devastated the Parrish family beyond words and their emotional state after losing Jesse was at a low unlike anything they've ever experienced.
Then an event struck this past weekend that has not only emotionally drained the family of everything they had left in them, but they are now financially burdened beyond repair. Wade and Susan's main source of income for many years has been through owning and managing the Lakeside Residences in Granbury, TX. The recent flooding ripped through Granbury and left a path of destruction, primarily at their property.
The severity of the damage convinced the City of Granbury to condemn the property and execute a forced and immediate evacuation by the police. To make an awful situation even worse, the insurance company determined that the disaster would NOT be covered.
With damage in excess of $1,000,000.00 and no support from the insurance company, the Parrish family is in dire need of support. They are asking for donations of any size...anything at all will help keep this family going during a time that is so devastating.
