Support for Parker Eckburg

Parker Eckburg is a 14 year old boy who lives in Yorba Linda CA.  He attended Fairmont Elementary and Bernardo Yorba Middle School.  He will be attending Yorba Linda High School in the fall.  He is battling medulloblastoma for a second time.  He has been treating at CHOC (chemo), but the tumors are still growing in his spine and at the base of his brain, so it has been just a matter of time before the "dam breaks" so to speak.    We are overjoyed to report that he has been accepted at MD Anderson in Houston for a trial.  Mom (Caren), Parker and Dad (Kevin) will be traveling to Houston on August 19 and returning on August 21st.  They (2 of them) will have to travel back and forth every other week after the initial trip for the trial and need our support for meals, tickets, and hotel costs.  We are asking if anyone has any transferrable miles or southwest trips etc they can donate, please contact Barb Buckley at [email redacted].  If you would prefer to make a tax deductible donation (501(c)3), please mail your check to: Making a Difference, 5893 Lakeview Lane, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.  A donation letter will be mailed to you in January of 2016.
