Fats's Emergency Medical Fund

My fur baby, Fats Domino, was stolen from a car on 10/25. We were lucky enough to be reunited  on 11/3 thanks to the help of family, friends, and strangers.

Fats contracted parvovirus (a really, really nasty disease that attacks the GTI and white blood cells) while he was missing. He needs emergency medical care and hospitalization to have a chance of beating this nast virus.

The treatments/hospital stay are expensive, and a 75% deposit was necessary even to admit him to the animal hospital. Within minutes of posting I needed financial help to admit him, the phones started ringing off the hook at the hospital. Family, friends, and complete strangers stepped up to the plate and called in over $2000 in donations within an hour to get him admitted for the treatment he so desparately needed. The animal hospital had to stop accepting donations once we reached the high-end of the deposit.

His medical bills are estimated to be over $5000 due to the severity of the disease and the likelihood he'll have to remain at the hospital for about a week. Many of you wanted to contribute and have asked how you can help, so I set up this fund to accept additional donations.

Any money above and beyond what is needed for Fats's medical care will be donated to help other fur babies who need financial assistance to receive emergency medical care.

My heart is so full, and I'm in complete awe of the kindness and generosity of each and everyone of you who have chipped in to help bring my baby home and get him healthy again. I can't imagine how I can possibly show my gratitude for everything that has been done to help us through this difficult time.
