Portlethen Community Allotments

We are raising money to establish a community allotment site in Portlethen. We hope to develop an enclosed site to accommodate 30 to 40 plots and communal growing areas, including an orchard and fruit bushes. The cost of our project is likely to be in the region of £85,000. This would allow us to provide an accessible community allotment site that has something for everyone, all ages and abilities with car parking, raised beds, toilet facilities, sheds with water collection units, a community hut, composting bays and storage unit.
We hope to raise most of the costs via funding grants, however, many funders offer match funding which means we need to raise our own funds too.
