Send Wilshire 12U to REGIONALS!

We need your help to make a dream come true for an amazing girls fastpitch softball team!  Wilshire 12U Gold All-Stars has qualified for REGIONALS!  After placing 2nd at Districts, and then an amazing performance at States this past weekend -- coming in 4th out of 29 teams -- we are all SO excited to be invited to the big Cal State Games July 15-17th in San Diego.   The Cal State Games are an amazing junior olympics type event with 22 sports and 12,000+ athletes.  The Opening Ceremonies are at Qualcomm Stadium, and aside from three days of softball, there are a ton of fun events going on across the city for the athletes.

But . . .  it's expensive.  Most of the 12 girls on our team qualify for a scholarship from our league. Quite simply, many of our families cannot afford the cost of about $500 per player to attend Regionals (this includes registration fees, trading pins -- a fun part of the experience with other teams, tickets to the Opening Ceremonies, and 2 nights of hotel rooms). Because of the size of this event, "discounted" hotels in San Diego are about $200/night.  We're considering other options but in short, WE NEED YOUR HELP.  

It would be devastating if our girls can't have the experience of their lives because of the costs. We are the ONLY team from central Los Angeles -- the suburbs dominate in our sport, with much larger leagues (and ready access to field space!).
