Go To Bat For Joe

Donation protected
Joe McBrayer is a good guy.  He's got a wife and a son.  He loves the St. Louis Cardinals.  In fact, he loves the Cardinals so much that he's dedicated a good chunk of time to writing a blog about them.  You can find it at cardinalredbaseball.wordpress.com.

Joe also has been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer.   He'll be having a biopsy soon and chemotherapy afterwards, but it's obviously a very tough time for him.  There are also going to be a lot of expenses right now as well and we want to help.

The United Cardinal Bloggers, a group that Joe's been a part of for most of a decade, wanted to show Joe he was a valued part of our community and, as such, we're setting up this GoFundMe to help him with whatever expenses come his way.  We may not be able to pay a large amount, but every little bit shows love, compassion, and honor to someone we've come to know.

In 2011, down to their final strike in Game 6 of the World Series, David Freese kept the Cardinals alive by tripling in the tying runs and then, two innings later, hitting the winning home run.  We believe Joe has a little David Freese magic in him and so we are going to bat for Joe!
