Have you ever wanted to cross Canada? Can you imagine going from Saint John New Brunswick to the Yukon. We want to bring you along on our adventure. See what it would be like waking up every day in tent and exploring angother part of our beautiful country. Get interesting papers and stories highlighting Canadian history. We are finally in a position to see my father in the Yukon. We are doing this on a shoestring budget though and with an older (but much loved) vehicle. On the way we are going to experience all that Canada has to offer and what better time than the country’s 150th birthday! Armed with nothing but a car load of people and stuff, a skeletal budget, and a loving and sarcastic devotion that can only be found in a family with a teen and preteen! Come and share our story as we experience the glories of this magnificent country and try to get along, share space, and become closer than ever as a family. We will be visiting all the historical sites we possibly can and bringing these stories to life for you. Using a variety of media, we will bring the passion of our adventure into your lives. We will be leaving Guelph, ON on June 30th and beginning our trip across Canada with a stop in Niagara Falls, ON. From there we will be travelling to Ottawa for Canada Day!t. Then on to Saint John NB where we will all tip our toes in the Bay of Fundy and embark on our 6000+ Kilometer journey to the Yukon.
Along the way we will be taking advantage of our Parks Canada Discovery Passes which grants us unlimited opportunities to enjoy national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites across the country! The daily updates including exclusive videos, pictures, and stories documenting our journey that you will receive will be full of our country's beautiful scenery and the history of Canada.
