Go Big For Tiny
Donation protected

My great grandmother, Tiny (far left), is turning 100 years young on October 28th. She lives in Wasilla, Alaska and I, (the little blonde boy in the middle), would love to be there to help her celebrate. In honor of the occasion, I am going to recreate her original trek up to Alaska.
A great friend of mine, Ryan Barton, and I are biking up because we do not have the funds to fly or drive, and we also have a flair for the adventure. We go to school in Memphis, and are a couple of broke college kids. This journey has the opportunity to be life-changing and perspective-shifting, retracing the 80-year-old steps of my beautiful great grandmother.
The 5,000-mile trip will be more than challenging, but will also be as rewarding of an experience as there is in the world. At 22 years old, now is the time to take a chance and go on a journey.
The 5,000 dollars goes toward supplies and food, along with preparation for anything that could possibly go wrong. I've heard many people say they wish they took more chances when they were younger. Well, I'm young and this is the chance I am taking. And I would love to share the ride if you can find a place in your heart for Ryan and me.
Anything and everything is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and kind spirit.
Welcome to the family,
Tyler
