Moving from CA to TX
We will be moving cross country from California to Texas at the end of February! It will be an amazing opportunity for both my boyfriend and I to start fresh, without tremendous financial stress.
I currently work part-time, but suffer from chronic illness/pain and mental illness that prevent me from being able to work full-time and with the awful job market here, my boyfriend has unfortunately been unlucky in his job search, he also struggles with anxiety and depression but is able to work full-time when jobs are available.
Unfortunately CA is ridiculously expensive and we are unable to survive with just my income alone, so we cannot stay. If you feel so inclined, any amount of donation is appreciated and will help tremendously not only to assist with costs but to ease our stress through this process. As a digital artist I am also willing to do some commissions for higher donations upon request! ❤️
All money raised here will go to cover moving costs. Most if not all will go to uhaul truck and towing, estimate cost of the rental is ~$2,000 by itself. Funds will also be used for packing supplies, fuel for our car and the U-haul, food for us and our pet lizard, and any hotel/motel costs along the way as it is a long drive (estimated around 23-26 hrs not counting stops). If any funds are left over after we arrive it will all go towards initial security deposits and other housing fees!
