GLOW - a dance experience
Donation protected
Hi!
I'm Kendall Kramer, a professional dancer/teacher/choreographer living in Houston, TX.
I am raising money for a very special dance to be performed at the Houston Fringe Festival. GLOW - a magical ritual that is both communal and secret - it happens (mostly) in the dark.
This show is going to be DIFFERENT! The audience participates from their seats and it makes or breaks the show. The observed and the observer merge to create art. It is an opportunity for our community to create something beautiful together, don't we need some more of that?
The show will feature gorgeous dancers, LED balloons, and YOU!

This project requires a bare minimum of 770 for:
-studio rental for rehearsals
-practice balloons and LED balloons for tech rehearsal and shows
-production fees at the Frenetic theater
-minimal costumes
-paying 3 brilliant professional dancers for rehearsal, tech, and performances!
If the project is fully funded, we are able to provide:
-better costuming
-a photographer for promotional material
-a videographer
-I can pay my hard-working dancers more; there is so much that goes into preparation and rehearsal~ any additional money raised will be divided equally to support the artists.
The 2 showings of GLOW will take place AUGUST 27 at 5:30pm and AUGUST 28 at 3:30pm. (You can purchase tickets at http://houstonfringefestival.org/)
However, we need the funds much sooner to pay for rehearsal space, balloons, venue rental, and costumes.
When our exact show dates and times are selected, I will update.
This work means so much to me because I have seen through my experience as a dance teacher and performer the healing effects of art and community. The world needs more magic - let's create a little twinkle together. (Plus - it is a dream of mine to create a dance with glow-in-the-dark balloons.)
I would be SO THANKFUL for any donation. Truly. Even $5 makes a difference. Sharing this page with friends and family is also a great help. Thank you.
Can't wait to make magic with you in August :)
