BARN DESTROYED & Community Rebuild

Linda Sexton has been part of the Chimacum Valley for many years. She gives much to the community, but today, she needs to reach out to her friends and family with help with her accidental fire on January 2, 2015. Most of her farm equipment and supplies were lost. The fire departments were busy throughout the evening and night to the next morning.
The following photos were taken the morning after the fire and the next week walking through the wreckage. Every dollar you may spare would contribute towards the rebuilding of Linda’s farm.

I am a 68 yr old widow who lost her mate five years ago. He raised cattle. I have worked day and night to take care of the farm by myself without the necessary skills. A shovel has been my best friend. I sold the cattle and planted 8 acres to fruit trees, a start to diversify the farm. I bought a rotovator to hook up to the tractor (burnt) this Spring. The pump house was destroyed totally but the water is now back on from the ground up and a pallet-sided tarped pumphouse. thank God for rainwater in the between times.
The barn is gone, vanished....the walk-in cooler, the equipment repair area, the tool shop, the drying racks, and outside 2 rv's for seasonal housing, and 2 personal vehicles. With no insurance I will not replace the 3story hay/cattle barn. It was 6,ooo sq ft and logged from the property and milled by the neighbor.
The Glendale Farm was a historical Dairy/Creamery from the 1850's with regional distribution and 30 employees then.
It has an Agricultural Conservation Easement on its prime soils. It will forever remain whole and agricultural.
The Glendale Farm has its own identity apart from me, It belongs to the community. I do not have the funds to rebuild and I have too much debt. I am tired from the last five years and will simply go back to a pic and shovel until I can buy a used tractor at a bargain price. My hands so far have done most of the work(weeding) with the help of a walk-behind rototiller (destroyed).
I need help if the Glendale Farm is to move forward as a productive Farm. The orchard is 4 yrs old and too young to harvest,The second bean seed crop was a failure. I have had one bean seed crop to successfully sell but even so at a loss due to rainy moldy weather come early and stay for months. I would like to be able to make a living from the land and expand with a crop to sell. Tomorrow I will look into the irrigation water system and its restoration (it was tied into the barn electrical which is gone).
Counting all my blessings. mostly my Health.
