Mother of Mercy Foundation is participating in #GivingTuesday, occurring this year on November 28, 2017. #GivingTueaday kicks off the holiday giving season and the ability for individuals to share with organizations that are meaningful to them. Mother of Mercy Foundation is naming their campaign this year #GivingGrottoDay to rebuild and restore the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto on the campus.
During the era of the Precious Blood sisters there was an Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto on the perimeter of Holy Family Hill. The Foundation is looking to restore the grotto back to the original location.
“Giving can mean so much to us that I think we often take it for granted.” Sheri McBride, Executive Director stated, “The ability to give means that you have treasure, accumulated material, or spiritual, wealth. Some give out of their excess, and some give all that they have. But almost everyone has a desire to give something. This year, we ask that you consider giving a gift to help us raise funds for an Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.”
Donation Levels:
$50 - Bernadette Patron
Your intention will be places in the grotto during construction
$250 - Blue Belt Provider
You will receive an invitation to a private unveiling of the finalized grotto, along with the Bernadette Patron Level
$500 - Golden Rose Club
Your name will be placed on a plaque at the base of the grotto for future generations to see, along with the items listed in the Blue Belt and Bernadette Levels
