Giving back to the Laird family

Donation protected
Daniel Laird is from a little town named Yuba City and he was one of the greatest human beings you could ever meet or want to meet. His domineer was very gentle, his smile infectious and his generosity was bountiful. To say the least, he was an exceptional man! I don’t believe there was anything that Daniel could not do. If he didn't have the answer to something, he would research, study and find a solution. A true problem solver! He knew early in life that he wanted to be a firefighter like his father and uncle and when Daniel set his mind to do something, you were guaranteed that he would do it. So for 23 years that is exactly what Daniel did! Starting straight out of high school he joined the forestry fire fighting academy and started on his career path. He went from a firefighter, to a hot shot firefighter to eventually becoming a strong leader and a great captain! Following him on this journey was the love of his life (and 8th grade sweetheart) Heather Laird! From that very young age, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They had one of those fairy-tale relationships that started when they were young, then went their separate ways for awhile and then rekindled their relationship as young adults. It was a relationship that seemed to just radiate love and happiness that eventually led them to their marriage and beautiful, beautiful little girl, Evain! It was the perfect little family package full of love and laughter. But that all ended Wednesday, March 27th when Heather got the dreaded knock on her door. Standing outside her door was Daniel's best work make followed by Daniel's captain and the rest of his crew. No words needed to be said, as Heather knew what tragedy she was about to face. Daniel had been working in Texas on a fire when the unthinkable happened and the pilot of the helicopter lost control and crashed. Sadly, of the three people in the helicopter, Daniel was the only one who didn't survive. Now, in the wake of his death, I am pleading that others are willing to give back a little of what Daniel gave to so many for so long! Heather, a stay-at-home mother now has to deal with the struggles of being a single mother/provider to their 11 year old daughter. I truly believe that there are still genuinely good people out there and that good karma will find its way back to the Laird family. It is with a broken heart that I write this to you and I hope you will find it in your hearts to help them out! Thank you in advance for your time and generosity! Prayers good thoughts and good vibes are also appreciated at this time of grieving. Thank you!
