#WillhelmWarriors
Just about this time last year, Andy and Verhanika posted their first and only GoFundMe to ‘help the Willhelms cover additional childcare costs and help around the house while Andy recovers from surgery.’
One year later, this difficult cancer journey continues. Endless rounds of treatments, procedures and labs fill their weekly schedules. Through it all, Andy continues to work at the Rep as much as he can, and Verhanika continues to coach the world in order to make us all better, more efficient people in more effective workplaces.
Most importantly, both Andy and V strive to make their life together with Ronan, rich, happy, and filled with love. They surround themselves with family, with friends, with colleagues, with all of us. Despite their worries, their fears, and their continuous zig-zagging through the continually changing oncology directions, they stay so incredibly strong. Their strength through this journey has been utterly inspiring.
I believe those of us who have been part of their journey are committed to working together to make sure finances are the one thing V and A don’t need to worry about.
So now, it’s my hope that just prior to the holiday season, we can all dip into our pockets, break open some piggy banks, and give whatever we can, to help this amazing trio move forward on this ever-changing and challenging journey.
No amount is too small - every single penny counts.
As part of The Willhelm Army, where will your donations go? To continuing childcare, to bills, and maybe (hopefully) to a family outing, where they can leave the medical teams and treatments and worry at the doorstep, and enter a world where they can just be the ‘old’ Willhelms for a few, brief hours.
If you have questions, ping us and we will get you answers.
And to read about their journey this past year, please visit: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/andrewwillhelm/journal. Verhanika has kept a running journal chronicling their experiences, and includes regular updates. It's an emotional testament, sharing the challenges, the love, the frustrations, and even the lighthearted moments that come with a cancer journey.
Thank you for being part of our fundraising efforts for The Willhelm Family. We appreciate you. We thank you. We love you!
With love from Command Central for The Willhelm Army!

Friends and family! It's one week until Thanksgiving, and I wanted to be sure that everyone who hasn't had an opportunity to donate knows that we're still working towards a new goal of $7500. Remember, #EveryPennyCounts
