Give Nate's Cancer The Quack!

Our beautiful Nate has just been told his life is changing – because of the Big C. He has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare aggressive bone cancer, particularly unusual given his age. This is going to put him on his arse for a little while, which as some of you will know, is a near impossible situation for such an amazing guy.  Our Nathan is determined, passionate and hardworking.  He loves whole-heartedly and is very loved in return.  On our own we can’t raise the amount of money this little duck is going to need for intense cancer treatment. Nate has started a strong course of chemo which will essentially continue for a full year in five week sessions. Two out of those five weeks will be chemo every day at the PA hospital in Brisbane.  In November, Nate will undergo an operation whereby they will remove his femur, where the bone cancer and tumour are situated, and replace with a custom-made titanium rod, which is designed in Germany and made in the USA. He will then need intense physiotherapy to learn how to walk again, while still undergoing chemo at the same time.
