Give Marlon a Leg Up

Our Friend, Marlon St. Julien, was injured last Saturday when a horse stumbled leaving the gate unseating him. Marlon was sent to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines where he underwent surgery to stabilize his cervical vertebrae (relieving pressure off of his spinal cord).
Marlon had a Tracheotomy today and is now off of the ventilator. He is able to move his extremities, although in a limited capacity. He has been able to communicate quite well with us and has been keeping Brinda busy helping with his care.
There is no answers for how far, or how long, his recovery will be. We all know he is a very tough and determined man, that should aid in his recovery process.
We would like to raise money for them so Brinda is not having to work at this time so all of her energy can be devoted to helping Marlon in his recovery. I've personally seen them together in the ICU and know what an important part she plays in his well being.
