Girl Power-Ability Sleepover
Between Friends is a non-profit organization that offers much needed social recreation, and development opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
One of these programs is Girl Power, that we have been facilitating for five years! Working with girls ages 6 to 18; every Sunday we embark on a new adventure! Whether it's yoga, rock climbing, special pups day camps, or a day at the corn maze, Girl Power leaves their mark everywhere they go. The purpose of this program is to create an environment where our girls feel empowered, build meaningful friendships, and are exposed to new experiences.
This summer we hope to expand this program to include a weekend overnight sleepover, but we need your help!
In order for this sleepover to be successful, we have been tasked with fundraising $1800 towards:
Renting an inflatable movie screen ($1400)
Mobile spa treatment ($200)
Craft supplies ($100)
Volunteer recognition brunch ($100)
All donations are appreciated! If you would like to donate through in-kind or would be interested in getting involved with Between Friends, please do not hesitate to reach out!
