Carlo Lingiardi passed away 2-9-2021 from Co-vid 19. But that is not the big story!
The big story is the fight he put up the last 15 years of his life. He was in a wheel chair with a TBI from being hit by a kid in a car while on his bike in 2005. He should have never lived from this accident. He came out of a 50 day Coma. He loved his family so much he made it back from his near death experience. He had some one on one conversations with God. He chose to come back and fight for his life and family.
He was a man of courage and a grand love of life. He worked as a leader in the shoe industry for 18 years before his accident. He worked at Gore in Italy, Geox USA, Tecnica and was President of Teva footwear.
He loved his 2 children Georgia and Brent as well as his wife Michele more than anything.
He spent his days in a wheel chair on line looking for solutions to get better and keeping up with the shoe business.
He was always worried how to take care of his family after the accident. It bothered him so much he could not provide and he wanted to do it so badly.
