Gina's Memorial Services
Donation protected
My name is Elizabeth. I am the eldest daughter of Virginia "Gina" Dawn Fekete (Millington). I was also her state provided caregiver. I, and my siblings did what we could to look after her.
My mom was diagnosed in late 2004 with Congestive Heart Failure and she had one artery working and only at 15%. She underwent a quadruple bi-pass in January 2005. For the longest time only heart failure and diabetes were here biggest Health problems.
A few years ago she was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. At this point, it was a race to which would get her first.
She fought so hard against the illness. It was hard on her mentally and physically. Still, she held firm and never gave up.
In the end, it was not of her ailments that killed her, but an accident caused by her illness that got her. Somehow, her passing still caught us off guard...

The money we are asking for will aid us with the expenses of her Memorial services. Her wishes were to be buried, just a simple thing followed by a celebration of her life (or a wake if you will). Sadly, I don't think we would ever be able to raise enough to cover it. With that being said, I picked to simplest and cheapest things I could.. And still it is a lot...
There will be a viewing, Just a small private one... where our tiny group of local friends and family can say their " good-byes". This will be followed by a cremation... Which then will be followed by a small party/wake/ whatever to celebrate my Mother.
Gina's Tribute "Obit" on the Funeral Home's Website
2,500 will go to the services (including urn) provided by the Funeral home.
The remaining 500 will go to the party/wake/ whatever. What does not get spent on the celebration will go to helping us with living expenses until I can find a new job.
We will need the money as soon as possible. As we need to pay the Funeral home and get Mom's body where it belongs and lie her to rest, so-to-speak
To do this for our mother, who deserves the best, and getting what we can do, means the world to me. She loved us so, she cherished her grandchildren. I can not put into words how much your help means to me and my family.
