Gilotti Family

I know most of you have read the news or have seen the news of Mike Gilotti’s death. I write this with a heavy and saddened heart. Mike was a Veteran, a good friend to me and to many, a loving father to his 2 boys Kevin and Russell, and a wonderful husband to his wife Heather. Like you, the Gilotti’s are a part of this CCS family. I knew Mike well and I knew how much he loved his family and you could tell through his interactions how much his boys loved him. As I think about what happened today, I consider how my 2 boys and wife would feel with me gone. I would not want them to feel that pain. However, I know as they grow and continue to seek out a relationship with Christ that pain would only last a short while. Our time is short on this earth but because of the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ our life in Him is everlasting. Please pray for Heather, Kevin, and Russell during this difficult time. Pray for comfort and strength. We don’t know why things like this happen and we most certainly don’t like the pain that comes along with them. We do have a loving Heavenly Father who is here with us to comfort us and to wipe away our tears. God Bless you and please pray!
