Hi everyone, these are 2 brothers - Patrick and Tyler -  recent High School graduates that have fallen on a very difficult situation. Please read their story and consider helping them out, if you wish to do so. They are good, hard working boys in a very difficult time, We are working with them, local county officials, and a food pantry. We are trying to get them into an apartment, where they can be better supported. Remember, anything is enough to help, it all adds up. Thank you.

Patrick and Tyler Giesler have had a lot of adversity in their lives, more than any boys should have to deal with.  Pat and Tyler lost their father at a very young age.  Soon after the death of their father, the boys had to deal with being abandoned by their biological mother.  They were fortunate enough to have their loving grandmother, Theresa Burke, who the boys refer to as “Mom”, and their great grandmother, Filomena Santapolo Irons, to raise them.  They lived together in a long time family home near the Mantoloking Bridge in Brick Township (the family home was built in the 1800's).

On October 29th 2012 tragedy once again struck the boys and their family.  Super Storm Sandy made landfall in NJ and became the most destructive hurricane in history.  It destroyed the long time family home, and all of their belongings, including vital paperwork (they just obtained their Birth Certificates this past fall).  With no means to rebuild the family was now homeless.  Having to sell the house for much less than it was worth they were fortunate enough to move into a rental home in the Lake Riviera section of Brick.  The social security of their great grandmother and “mom” is what helped the family survive.  For a little while things were OK, until their great grandmother, Mrs. Irons, passed away.  Soon after Mrs. Irons passing, the family was evicted from their rental property and they were homeless once again.

Over the past few years they have bounced around from rental homes and hotel rooms.  At times the boys and “mom” have lived out of their mini-van.  Throughout this time with the help of the Brick Township High School community, Pat and Tyler have remained focused on their goals.  They each played 3 varsity sports throughout High School, while holding down full time jobs to help “mom” with the bills.  Pat and Tyler would come in from practice, shower, get dressed, and go to work each night after practices and on the weekends.  The most amazing thing about Pat and Tyler is they each have NEVER missed a lifting, training or High School sport practice for any of the teams they were on during their 4 years in High School!!!  They were always the hardest working boys on their teams.  Patrick finished his HS career with 6 Varsity letters and Tyler finished his HS career with 4 varsity letters.

Since graduating from H.S. in 2018, the boys and “mom” have been living in Wenke’s Motel in Point Pleasant.  They have been working full-time at Wendy’s in Brick to help “mom” with the bills along with attending Ocean County College.  Soon after graduation “mom” was diagnosed with cancer and had been in and out of hospitals until she recently passed away.

The boys are currently on their own at the ages of 18 and 19 and are months behind on their rent at the motel.  They ride their bikes to work or Uber if the weather is bad.  They are currently trying to balance their college classes around their work schedule, and deal with the recent loss of “Mom”.  We are asking you to help these boys get their adult lives started off on the right foot.  Remember, any amount whatsoever is a help, thank you very much.  100% of all money collected is going to pay the back rent owed, new security deposit, food, future rent payments, obtaining driver licenses, securing a vehicle, and helping them create a stable and productive life.  Thanks Again, we appreciate any and all help.  Please look for updates, as we will be sharing all the progress that is made with all your help and support.  Thank You.

-Campaign Organizer: Scott Lloyd.  Volunteer football coach at Brick Township High School.
-Campaign Beneficiary: Len Zdanowicz (Coach Z),  Head Football Coach at Brick Township High School.  Coach Z is handling all logistics with this campaign.
-100% of the funds will be given to Patrick and Tyler, specifically for future rent (they already paid off the back rent of the Motel), automobile(s), food, clothing, and other basic necessities.  At the moment they are consulting with a lawyer and accountant (free of charge, both professionals offered pro bono work).
-Coach Z will transfer funds from the GoFundMe account to an account that will be set up for Patrick and Tyler through aforementioned lawyer and accountant.

Greetings Everyone
THANK YOU for all the support!!!

Yesterday was an amazing day. The boys have a place to stay for as long as they need. We want to thank the Trapasso family for their amazing contribution of giving the boys a place to stay, and their tremendous help with the move in.

We would like to thank Bill Hart, his wife, and Bubbakoos for setting the boys up so they have nice cozy beds to sleep in, and plenty of meals to enjoy at Bubbakoos.

We want to thank Christine, Matt, and the whole team at Seeds of Service for helping the boys with paperwork for obtaining assistance, goods, and driving all around in the box truck yesterday moving us out, picking stuff up, and delivering stuff for the move in.

Thank you coach J.K. for donating much needed furniture.

Thank you Mary Jane, the boys will enjoy the movies and some nice restaurants. We appreciate your sentiment "make sure they have fun, enjoy the movies, and meals, like teenage boys should be doing".

Thank you Nick Arcuri and Mark Jameson, the Uber credits are a big help.

Thank You Redeemer Fellowship Church for reaching out, helping right away with some immediate needs, and setting up an ongoing support plan. Your commitment to the long haul is so appreciated.

There are many of you who have messaged and let us know you are available to help in more ways, thank you. We will be contacting each of you within the next week, we appreciate your willingness to help on various levels. Thank You.

Once again, we want to thank every single person who has donated to this campaign, Thank You. This campaign has grown tremendously in three days, and you are making a very big impact and words cannot express how grateful we are for what you are doing, Thank You So Much!
