On 3/23/18, our corporation (Skyline Healthcare) failed to pay our payroll. This left 148 employees without pay. The NE DHHS put a receivership in place on 3/23 and appointed Klaasmeyer and Associates to operate our facilities temporarily until a permanent operator can be put into place. This guarantees that our residents will be provided with supplies/food and our employees will be paid going forward. What it does NOT do is put money into our employee's pockets for the missed payroll. Our employees have continued to show up for work to provide care to our residents at both Grand Island locations, despite the fact that they have not received a paycheck. 
This fundraiser is being set up to generate cash to put into our employees pockets to cover expenses such as food, gas, diapers, rent, utilities, etc. Anything you could do to help support our Grand Island employees would be greatly appreciated!
