Help Anne Pursell Beat Cancer

On October 16th, 2014 my daughter Anne was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent bilateral masectomy followed by chemotherapy, radiation and reconstruction, a lot for a 32 year old young woman to deal with not to mention her husband and 18 month old daughter (my granddaughter).
She had been cancer free, but now it has returned as stagge 4 and Anne is in her second battle. This battle may prove to be more difficult
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Anne lost her brother, my son Jake, 7 years ago to a Glioblastoma brain tumor. While I cannot speak for anyone but myself I was just beginning to feel a small amount of hope that we would be able to move on enough to cope with such a great loss in our lives. I felt some comfort in the idea that the worst had passed us and that along with Annes wonderful husband Nick and a new granddaughter Heather we could get back some of the happiness that was taken from us 7 years ago.
Now we are back in the trenches of cancer.
So once again, I call out my troups, my friends and aquaintences to help this young couple, my family, any way that they can. Anyone with any experience of cancer knows that the insurance pays only so much. There are obvious and hidden costs, such as time lost from work, uncovered medications, and other unknown expenses. A young couple with a young child had enough to handle without cancer. Both Anne and Nick have made us proud with their positive attitude and determination to beat this evil, but that alone will not pay the bills. How nice it would be for them to have that burden lifted even somewhat through the help of others.
A penny, a dime a dollar, it all adds up. It all helps.
So go my angels... my friends and help my children with whatever you can. They will appreciate it as will I. Help us put this thing to bed so we can continue on with our lives once more. Spread the word... I know you will, I know I can count on it. And thank you in advance from the deepest part of my soul.
