The Ghana Science Book Tour

My name is Hephzi  a research scienctist by profession and co-founder of GhScientific. We are launching a 'Science Book Tour' project to donate science books to schools in Ghana. 
We want to raise £2000 to purchase science books aimed at primary school children. The books will be distributed among a selection of under resourced schools in the country for a period of time after which the libraries will be swapped around giving the children the opportunity to explore the library. 

Science education in Ghana is challenged by the lack of resources making lessons very theoretical  and the application of concepts left to the imagination.  We want to help bridge this gap by running public engagement projects .

Below is a  photo taken from time we spent at an orphange engaging the kids with science experiments. 


Many of these kids do not get the opportunity to read other books aside their text books. We want to inspire curiosity and stimulate their interest in how things work from an early stage through this Science Book Tour. 

Below is a selection of some of the books we are looking to purchase.
