Final expenses for John aka PaPa
Greetings all, my name is Tina one of 3 daughter's and two son's of Mr. John Lawson Burge III Between us all he has 18 grandchildren. This wonderful man, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, friend to all and everybody's (pa-pa). He went home to be with the Lord wednesday March 16, 2016. His passing is so unreal to us, due to what we thought would be a quick surgery and recovery. On February 11, 2016 John went to hospital with stomach pain, to discover he needed an appendectomy. The surgeon told us everything was fine in one moment and then the next John was in total respiratory failure, which also led severe pneumonia and bacterial lung infection. This caused him to be on lifesupport for approximately a month. When the hospital thought it was time John was transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he would be weaned off of the machine that was helping him breath and praise God they did it! He was at the rehab for about a week and a half. Though he was still weak we were able to laugh and talk with him just like old times. We were all excited and believed he would be coming home very soon. Suddenly on Tuesday night March 15 he was rushed back to the hospital ER where they discovered a large blood clot in his heart. Despite all of their life saving procedures they were unable to bring John back to us. He was 57 years young, Our wish is to bless our mother Mrs. Linda Mays-Burge who has lost her best friend and partner in life of 21 years with final expenses and comfort to move forward. On behalf of our mother we thank you and appreciate you in advance for your support no matter what form we are beyond grateful in this difficult time.
