On January 23, 2016, Nico was driving in his truck. He took his eyes off of the road for a few seconds and lost control of the vehicle. He was hospitalized with a few broken ribs and a punctured lung.  While he was in ICU he started to get better, but then proceeded to get worse. 
 He passed away on January 27, 2016. He leaves behind him a wife and 8 children. His wife is a stay at home mom. She will need help paying for the funeral and bills. 

The sooner we can help them the better. They are Christian and dear friends to a great many people, and words can not describe how appreciative they will be to be able to carry on with their lives as much as possible. Because losing a loved one is never easy, especially when you have to fill the shoes that were once theirs and provide for your family.
