MCSO: Deputy Barba

Our very own deputy in Merced county suffered from a gun shot wound on September 8, 2016 while responding to a call for domestic abuse in Delhi, CA. Deputy Barba is a 10 year veteran with the Merced County Sheriff's Department and a loving husband, father friend and deputy. While Deputy Barba is expected to make a full recovery at this time after undergoing surgery and remaining in patient in a local hospital, we want to make sure that the family and Deputy Barba will not have to worry about any additional costs that come with illness or injury.

There has been a huge show of support of Deputy Barba, his partners on his squad as well as the department. In order to allow Deputy Barba to rest, recover and rehabilitate with his family by his side  during this difficult time, a donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. 

We want to make sure our deputy and his family have all of our love and support as well as privacy during this difficult time.
