I am looking at a long long legal battle across two countries/continent. Mothers are precious and the law gives them special rights but not always a mother is right. Fathers are as invested in their child as much as a mother. I hope by the time I am able to negotiate the legal hurdles in the two countries my son still remembers me and our love and bond. I am starting this campaign to help me with all the legal/travel costs involve in fighting this battle. I just want to protect a little soul's innocence. He should get the love of everyone's life he has touched.
My son was taken away from me by his mother to India. India doesn't recognize parental abduction as a crime and the legal process in India is excruciatingly slow and painful. I want my son to know me and grow with me. He's only 2+ years old and I offered his mom joint custody and time sharing but she is holding him hostage to negotiations in her favor and kind of getting back at me for our marital problem that has been ongoing since the last two years. I am only allowed supervised visitation. My son is a US citizen and I am following all the legal processes in US and India but have very little hope on the Indian process. I was already strong armed by the police by registering a false case and forcing me to hand over my son even when I was holding him in my arms. They did not even give me a chance to go to court while I had my son and threatened arrest and other harassment to me and my family.
