Our Mission?
We are Éirloop, the first team to represent Ireland in the world finals of the 2018 SpaceX Hyperloop Pod competition amongst the top 20 teams. We are on a mission to head over to SpaceX HQ in Hawthorne, California to get Elon Musk in an Irish Rugby Jersey. We are a team of 47 students tasked with this important mission and we believe we have the capabilities to make this a reality, we want to bring the ‘Home Advantage’ over to SpaceX!!!
Apart from that, we are also taking part in what is dubbed as the “The Olympics for Engineering and Innovation”. Ireland will be represented by a highly skilled team consisting of students from 8 universities, Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Institute of Technology Carlow, Institute of Technology Tallaght, Maynooth University and Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology.
Putting the combined effort of these third level institutions together, we aim to prove to the world that Ireland is amongst the leaders in innovation, engineering, and technology.

We are looking for your gracious support to help us to continue with the development of our pod and to ensure that we get Elon in an Irish Rugby Jersey. While we do offer larger sponsorship tiers on our website, offering logo space on team gear and on the shell of our pod, we are also extremely appreciative of individual donations, however big or small, as well. Your donation guarantees that you will be part of history in joining us as the first Irish team in the Hyperloop competition and also be helping us to carve the path for the future of clean energy transportation in Ireland.

Here at team Éirloop, we understand the importance of our task and the money raised will not only be used to buy the best quality Irish jersey possible. Your support will allow us to continue working on our Hyperloop Prototype for Elon and ensure that Ireland is well-represented at this years SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Student Competition.
