Get Swansea mum back home after rip of builder

Donation protected
Nichola Evans lives in St Thomas Swansea, a mother of three, after a hard few years loosing both parents and being divorced she decided a new start was in order.  So from money she had been left by her parents she decided to do all those jobs in the house that had built up and never been done.
The amount of work needing was staggering and after discussing it with family and friends decided the best thing to do was move into temporary accommodation and whilst the house was empty to do all the work that was needed.  She interviewed several builders getting several quotes and then settled on a builder called Jason Walsh he was likable and seemed very professional he gave her a full run down on the works to be done and the price.

She moved out he started work, he discovered several problems that would need further work and she decided that whilst he was doing the job she might as well add other things to the work load they agreed a total price of over £31000.00 she paid him a percentage of the money as required for materials and he got busy ripping all the old plastering down, pulling down fire places and she was impressed with the progress.  However the rebuilding work seemed to start to slow down he asked for more money because he needed to buy more materials.  she had rented the property for three months and it was getting in the last month so she asked Jason for a deadline day that she would be able to move back, he told her that if he had two solid weeks at it she should be back home and if she didn't call round it would be a huge reveal and a surprise.
She luckily enough didn't stay away because that is how she found out that he never went to the property and didn't do anything in that time. she called him sent messages.  Finally after all the excuses in the world hospital for a dog twice, he was unwell, he arranged to meet her back at the house she had also sent him a three page email listing all the work still needing to be done and the damage and missing items. When he turned up on the third occasion not appearing on two other times, he admitted there was a lot of work still to be done, said the electrics needed to be fully done and that he would finish the job and refund her several thousands because of the poor quality of the tilling in the bathroom. The front render was poor. The skirting wasn't on the list was endless.  When Nichola got upset he said "well i'm going I cant deal with somebody like that!!!".  After that day she never heard from her builder again even though she has emailed him and his business partner several times to get work done, I will not name the new company he and one other have set up but the details are on the X-Ray programme that came and filmed at Nichola's house.

For all those who want to see it, and even though it is a little confusing it is nothing to do with Dragon Training who Jason Walsh once worked for, they are a separate company who have nothing to do with this matter at all.

Nichola has moved out of the temporary accommodation because her lease ran out and has had to move in with her daughter.  Nichola is now homeless, she has given a builder over £31000.00 and has no home.
The surveyor that X-Ray provided have told her that her electrics need redoing from the start, her stairs are inadequate, the party wall in the loft needs to be built up again.

She also needs skirting boards, the floors to be repaired a laid down in some rooms all the walls to be hacked off and re plastered. tiling done, painting and decorating basically everything that she paid the Jason Walsh to do either needs to be done because he didn't do it or redone because the trainees that he had in her house to do the work made such a poor job it has to be redone.
It is going to cost her about £25000.00 to get all the work done she has had family and friends start to do somethings and another reputable builder has offered to help and for her to pay when she can.  The scaffolding outside the house after an initial problem where the scaffolding company were demanding she pay for it because it hasn't been paid for all these months have told her not to worry and they wont charge her.
We are asking for your help to get Nichola back into her own home, nobody deserves to be ripped off, Nichola moved out in March and is still sleeping on her daughters sofa to this day.  Even though X-Ray did a program Jason Walsh has not returned one penny.  Nichola  works part time and the rest of the time she helps look after her granddaughter, she can not do this on her own and does need all our help.
