My mom had me after she turned 40. She didn't know I was a baby until she was 23 weeks pregnant with me. I made my arrival at 28 weeks, the day after Christmas. I was fortunate enough to be born to two loving parents and several siblings.
My dad has a lot of medical challenges so my mom works very hard to provide for the family. She works 3 jobs as an event staff member. She also does freelance writing. My mommy works very hard!
My father, mother, and siblings all live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Since I have a trach and several machines to help me breathe, they desperately need a bigger place. I need to have a room of my own for all my equipment.
That is where you guys come in. Despite all my mom's efforts, she is not able to come up with enough money to get into a bigger place for me to come home.
DFCS is threatening to send me to a foster home instead of with my family. Please help my family avoid this. I would love to be at home with my mom, dad, and siblings instead of with some strangers.
