Black mold.
One of my students’ families recently found out that their house is filled with black mold. This family of five, kids in kindergarten, sixth grade, and seventh grade, are now relocated until further notice, an hour away from where they work and the kids go to school.
Her mom was suffering from migraines that lead to seizures. After doctors appointments and doing all the research she could, she found out that she had the signs of brain poisoning, from the chemicals of the mold.
Their house needs to be completely cleaned, gutted, and redone. They have to get a whole new wardrobe, furniture, and beds, and her mom needs treatment. Her mom came to me, letting me know what had been happening, worried about the amount of time and money would be spent to get all of this taken care of. If you can, please help me in raising some money for this amazing family.
