George's exams

Donation protected
George has been a constant companion for over 15 years. I got him and his brother from a friend when they were 8 months old and they've been with me through two marriages and across 4 states.Joe is more classic-cat independent, but George is my best friend. He likes to crawl inside my robe with his face poking out when I sit; he will sit clse and just stare at me for hours; he follows me to bed every night. I am closer to him than I have ever been to a pet. George has been losing weight slowly but steadily over the pasttwo years, and he has pretty pronounced arthritis in his rear legs and hips. My vet says it was either some kind of lymphoma in his gastro system (which wouldn't necessarily show in blood work), or  renal failure (which would). I paid for the whole blood workup and urinalysis to try to find out and it came back showing pretty normal for an old guy. So it may be kidneys or something more exotic. The vet says she needs to do a sonagram to find out, and that's expensive. And George will NOT take oral medicine fromme, so I need to pay for injections of an anti inflammatory if I want to treat his joint pain. If all points to George not being able to get relief, I'm afraid I will have to pay to put him to sleep, and that's expensive. Anyway, I was talking aobut it to some online friends and one of them suggested go fund me, Any monetary help would be strictly used to try to ease George's situation, and I would be endlessly grateful.
