 SAINT LOUIS, MO
News:

We're excited to have partnered with GoFundMe to create a short documentary about the St. Louis Six which you can see here, VIDEO-EMBED. We've also launched a new campaign for 2018 in support of the Gentle Barn Missouri which you can see here - please check it out: https://www.gofundme.com/GentleBarn-SPIRITofGiving

Original campaign information:

We have until June 5th to raise $400,000 to create the third Gentle Barn in St. Louis, MO so we can bring the #StLouisSix home, rescue many more animals in the future, and support the entire community with our programs for at-risk, inner city, and special needs children.

The #Stlouissix escaped a slaughterhouse and all they want is to be safe.  Please help us bring them home forever. We can't do this without you! Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Please share with your friends and family on social media!  Thank you, let's do this!

It is so wonderful to see how many people care about these sentient beings....Every life matters whether human or animal and everything wants to live and fights to live....I've given up eating meat for years now...we don't need it to survive!

The book about the founding of the Gentle Barn is awesome. Thank you for helping the innocent animal angels on earth. ♥ Friends and I recently visited the Gentle Barn in Knoxville. And then had a scrumptious vegan meal at the Sanctuary Vegan Café in Knoxville. Magical day!

STL is a baseball town. It would really resonate with the community if we named the boys after some of the Cardinal greats. We could have Lou, Stan, Red, and Ozzie. Yadi would be a fun alternate if one of those names is already claimed at the other two GBs. Might also really help with fundraising. Just a thought...

I have made a donation but forgot to submit names for the #Stlouissix! Since they have started a revolution by escaping, I would love for them to have names of famous revolutionary leaders! Chico, of course, keeps his beautiful name. ''Che'' comes to mind, for Che Guevara, we could have ''Spartacus'', ''Simon'' for Simon Bolivar, ''Guy Fawkes''... Would be fun, and meaningful :)

People see why we need support, people like Joshua Twiggs have no compassion and even feel the need to torment those who are supporting the cows, his life is void and vacant of love and self-worth. Let's get this done even 5 bucks helps!

I wish the exchange rate wasn't so costly or I'd give more. I donated US$35 which translates to $49 Canadian. Not complaining! Just wishing I could do more. Keep up the good work everybody! We can do this! Moo!

While these sweet cows will live in Missouri they are loved by people from all over the world just like the animals at the Gentle Barns in California and Tennesee. They should have names that reflect not on others or famous people but names that reflect on themselves and their own unique personalties. I believe that Jay and Ellie are the best ones to select their names.
