Generator Upgrade

$875 of $872 goal

Hey, it's Tessa again.

I've been surviving, and some things have started falling into place.

I finally have long term housing.
It's a 5th wheel RV, which I'll be repaying for a few years, but it's budgeted for, and I'm...trying not to be afraid of being hopeful.

Here's my little home, just waiting for the DMV to get the paperwork.
There's a bit of work that needs done on it, but most of it I can do.

Which brings me to my ask, from you, the community.

I need a generator.
Something that can charge the RV batteries, and power my welder while I make repairs, upgrades, and hopefully help out others in my community.

Previously, I was looking at the Westinghouse WGen7500DF, for $949, but a friend showed me the Firman H08051, which costs slightly less but provides a 50 amp circuit which is what the 5th wheel actually needs.
Either generator gives me options for renewable fuel inputs, and will allow me to stop worrying about power for both home and work.

Please help me get to $871.99, and afford a generator for my new home.

Any excess will be used to obtain materials to secure and connect the generator, or for sustainable fuel source(s).

After unboxing the generator on April 9th, nearly four months later, I've gently tested the capabilities of the generator across a trip of (so far) approximately 4396 kilometres.

It powers the welder.
It runs the angle grinder I borrowed from the Academy.
It powers the 5th wheel while the A/C is running.

I've not pushed the limits of the wattage output, and I still need to test the LPG performance, and before I can use it on the land, I'll need to purchase the high altitude carberator kit.

Having this tool has eased my path in numerous ways, and I thank everyone who helped me obtain it every time I run it.

I'm tempted to name it Bumblebee.

I am overwhelmed and in tears from your generosity.

Thank you.
I'm so filled with so many things, and I have nothing but gratitude.

This gives me hope.

Thanks to a friendly sysadmin on the fediverse, I found a slightly cheaper, but also slightly better, dual fuel generator.

The Firman H08051 is a dual fuel, CARB compliant, electric start system.

It provides a full 50 amp plug (which is what the trailer needs), and has rather good reviews in the places I could find.

I've adjusted the campaign goal accordingly, help me get some power for my home?

Also, this is Momo, looking chocolatey instead of void-black for once.
