In 1995 my wife and I embarked on the mission of our lives, to start a Gan Israel Summer Sleepaway Camp in California.
After many years of struggle and success and close to 2,000 campers, we were able to purchase our own facility in 2014, The Siderman Family Camp and Conference Center.
Our goal is to create the best summer experience for as many children as possible. In the three years since our purchase we have expanded our camper population from 75 campers to our projection for this summer of well over 150. We have 100 campers registered so far and 15 on a waiting list for the girls session. We need more bunk houses.
We are ready and able to build, but, we need your help. Each cabin will cost approximatley $25,000. We need 4 cabins for this summer.
We are asking you to contribute whatever you can in order to help us. We need to raise this money by June 1 2016 in order to maximize its impact. Your contribution is tax deductable and will go towards the building campaign.
This campaign means so much to us and even more to the hundreds of children who will enjoy the use of these cabins over the next many years
