Gantos For Good Vibes

As many of you may know, about six months ago my life came to a grinding halt. My days of surfing, yoga, traveling, and attending college disappeared into a stagnant blur of laying in bed, consumed in pain and confusion. Depression held me under water, suffocating me into a timeless and colorless world.
After many months of blank stares and bad medical information, I was finally diagnosed with Dysautonomia, an autonomic nervous system disorder, that carries debiliating and life altering challenges. Given the lack of awarness about this obscure condition, I started a blog (https://sydkayokay.com/)  in hopes that sharing my expirence could help and educated others about this sydrome. Now, I want to take it one step further.

My stuffed animal dinosaurs, the Gantos,  are all over my social media. When I first laid eyes on Ganto, I broke out into tears as I felt a strange connection and gravatation twords him. As a 19 year old, it's a little strange to be crying tears of joy in a public place over a stuffed dinosaur, but I felt compelled to adopt him with the feeling that he would change my life. My Gantos have helped pull me out of the dark. They bring lightness and playfulness into my slow, painful days. Not to mention, their fluffiness makes them optimal snuggle partners. They attend every procedure, appointment, hospitalization, and ER visit I go to, and are a fan favorite among doctors and nurses. They are my little protectors and my mascots.

I am starting a charity, Gantos for Good Vibes, that gives Gantos to other sick children and teens in hospitals. I feel every young person going through similar challenges deserves the same comfort and companionship that my Gantos have given me. I plan to hand deliver every Ganto to each child, and with it give them a personalized note, drawing, and story of their unique Ganto. But in order to make this dream a reality, I need your help. If you chose to support and donate, $5 would make a huge difference and mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read!
