"I have no interest in revenge anymore, but instead to work towards forgiveness, but most of all, peace. Thank you for today, it has truly, truly changed my way of thinking."  - Mira, student participant

At The Gandhi Experiment, our vision is world peace through education. We are committed to getting to the root causes of violence, hatred, fear and marginalisation. The success of our programs means no more band aid solutions - we are teaching teenagers how to create a more peaceful world.

Your donation will specifically fund the Global Participation - it starts with us! school conferences. You will be contributing to:
❤ teaching non-violence as a choice
❤ modeling how to be a global citizen
❤ teaching conflict resolution and positivity to teens
❤ building relationships with people and the planet
❤ helping teens step up and begin their own journey to a more positive future

Outcomes address:
✿ bullying and violence
✿ domestic violence
✿ social injustice
✿ corruption
✿ moving from apathy to action
✿ the move to more mindful action and a positive world

The $10,000 goal will initially provide for 20 schools across Melbourne and regional Victoria, Australia, India and Indonesia - this year, 2016.

The Global Participation - it starts with us! school conferences have been piloted in Melbourne, Australia, India and Pakistan. The responses from students has been extraordinary. Now we require funds to allow the program to grow and flourish.

The more we raise, the more schools benefit.
The more schools that benefit, the more our global community benefits.

An amazing time spent with the Yr 10s at Narre Warren South P-12 last Thursday. We workshopped all manner of global issues, then brought it all back to 'me'. Change begins with me.
So much fun, great learning - especially from 'The Best Forgiveness Role Play Ever.'
Thanks again for your support. This visit was partly sponsored by the Educating for a non-violent world campaign. So well done to all of you!

If you are looking for some great learning yourself go to: http://thegandhiexperiment.teachable.com The magic is happening in there! :)

A wonderful morning spent with 450 Camberwell High students for Harmony Day, discussing the relationship between global citizenship and personal growth - Change begins with me. My visit was completely organised by the students - excellent example of student leadership in a school.

On 25 March, Paul Brock, Honorary Professor from the University of Sydney passed away from motor neurone disease.... he wrote down his wishes for the education of his children (to be taught) ".....with humanity and sensitivity, as developing human beings worthy of being taught with genuine respect, enlightened discipline and imaginative flair...." Marg, you are doing your bit in this world. Great work!

Well - I'm so proud of my ace sister who recognises that education is actually the only thing that strikes at the root cause of conflict and is actually DOING something about it! You go girl.
