2017 Comeback

My name is Kimberly aka Gal on the Go. Last year I underwent two surgeries and had to cancel my Trifecta race plans that I had spent years training. Instead of dwelling on my physical limitations, I chose to focus my energy on the positive by building myself up through consistent physical therapy to the best of my ability at OrthoVirginia. Unwilling to give up, I reset my goals to races in 2017. I was accepted to participate in Spartan Race Cuba, a once-in-a-lifetime event. I am raising funds for this race, which represents my ambition and resilience. I want to show by example that when faced with life challenges big or small, your goals are still attainable, you just may need to alter your path to reach them. The funds you contribute will cover the fee for the race, roundtrip airfare and accommodations. I will share my journey throughout the process through my blog. Thank you for your consideration!
