Miss Gabriel's Story Part 1
Miss Gabriel Howell Facebook

Miss Gabriel Foundation
is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue specializing in severely neglected dogs needing a place to be rehabilitated who may otherwise be euthanized. We provide care under a medical treatment plan from a licensed veterinarian. We document the progress from the beginning of care. While being transparent of all the good and the bad of the rehabilitating dog. The only time we will not be transparent is if there is an open criminal case pending.

This accomplishes one of two things. It allows information out there for how to help other dogs and the public can be a part of the dogs rescue.

Miss Gabriel was an amazing first foster dog. It is in her memory we decided to do this. She was documented on a daily basis. People came to love and cheer her on during her healing process without even meeting her.

The day Miss Gabriel was no longer a foster and was adopted by us.

Our mission:
At the Miss Gabriel Foundation our mission is to give severely neglected dogs a place to heal and recover from the physical and emotional damage caused by severe neglect. This will be done through constant love, care and the healing power of a stable accepting pack.

Our Vision: We want severely neglected dogs who may otherwise be euthanized to get a second chance at life. To become the dog they always should have been and get adopted into a loving forever home.

Our Methodology: We will provide 24 hour care under the medical treatment plan by a licensed veterinarian, with reevaluation as needed. The dogs will be rehabilitated in a safe peaceful forest setting with room to wander, explore and have fun.

The log house on several acres of forest property for the dogs to romp and heal.

Tour of the back yard

This is just 1 person trying to make a difference. I need your help and support to keep this foundation alive in Miss Gabby's memory. These very sick dogs will have high medical expenses at first. Please find it in your hearts and place a tax deductible donation to this foundation. I am a volunteer so the money goes into the care of these very sick dogs to give them a fighting chance. Follow their progress on our websites and see how you have helped them. Thank you!

How To Help MGF Medical Needs Rescues

Please consider making a small tax deductible donation to this foundation to help out our special medical needs rescues. Also help get the word out and share our plea. Without your help, we cannot rescue more. Community donations are our only source of funding.

100% of the donations go to the medical cost of these rescues. Should their medical bills get paid off, it will go towards their care and feeding that I currently pay for out of my personal funds. I am an unpaid volunteer/director. This foundation is my way to help dogs like Miss Gabriel Howell .

Please consider signing up for a $1 or more, monthly reoccurring donation.

Thank you!

This campaign is for the foundation costs only. Such as care and feeding as well as improving the rescues comfort and safety. Like the wood stove we had installed or the fences we put up ect. Our heat pump is now broken and we have raised over $400.00 (over $4,500.00 needed) for that. As you can see we are small and not many people know about us. In 25 months this campaign has raised a little over $2,000.00. This is why in 2017 we spent over $16,000.00 of our own money on this rescue. This year we expect to pay out of pocket close to double that. Please share this campaign. Talk to companies you work at or the media to try and get us some help over here. Thank you for doing what you can to help keep us going.

So much has happened since my last update. We have not been able to take time away from saving lives to raise funds to do so. This has left our funds critically low and coming out of our personal funds lately. We have adopted out Miss Chloe and Mr Banks which this was very exciting for us. We also took in 5 more rescues since the last update. Four of the sick puppies we took in DNA tested to be two types of a Mastiff Cross. They are eating all the food in the house! Please consider sending in a donation so we can stay afloat. If you can't please share this campaign so that others might be able to help. Also check out the links in this campaign for other ways you could help. Thank you for helping us save these sick dogs.

It has been a rough month for us both financially and emotionally here at MGF. Between the two parvo puppies hospital care, a rescue passing away, Chloe’s puppies neuter surgeries, Bree’s spay surgery, taking in 5 sick dogs within a months time and some improvements made for the rescues comfort ability here our foundation account is empty. Any donation will be appreciated as this account goes into funding the foundation which includes feed and care of the rescues. If you cannot donate please share this campaign. Just getting our story out there will help. Thank you!

It has been a very busy March for us. We are still looking for homes for three rescues, while three will be adopted in the middle of April. Two are just beginning their journey, so please stop by and like their Facebook pages. We have finished the fence of our first play yard area and we are still working on installing the wood stove. Much is needed to be done around here to keep this place running for the rescues. Please consider donating today. Thank you!
