Hult Prize Competition

Each year, the Hult Prize in partnership with the United Nations, “issues a big bold challenge aligned with a large market opportunity meant to inspire and enable the world's brightest minds to solve it's greatest problems.” Luckily, WE MADE IT TO THE NEXT ROUND!! :D 
The Hult Prize challenge for this year is “youth unemployment.” On grounds of two big global issues: youth unemployment and cigarette littering, our team, named Unity which consists of Jennifer Fuentes, Giovanny Fuentes, and Jonathan Reyes, plans to build a business in Brazil to solve these issues. This project will collect, process, and convert the most littered item, cigarette butts, into useful viable products. Our future goal involves expanding to other types of garbage. Approximately 51% of the population living in rural areas in Brazil, lives on less than two dollars per day to feed their family. Our vision is to employ people from rural areas to provide training and opportunities to grow. Many people are starving or very ill, because of how the environment is being destroyed within our humanity. We all need to take actions to help each other and the environment if we want our kids/families to stop going to bed without food, fresh air, less diseases, and animals to stop dying from our impact. 
Our team was selected out of 200,000 applicants to pitch at the regional finals, which will be in San Francisco 15-16 March 2019. With your help and generosity, we will be able to compete and attend the regionals at San Francisco. Your contribution of a donation and share will make a great impact in our lives, those living in extreme poverty with no jobs, and our home, mother nature.
