Mobility Scooter for Kenny

Though some of you may not know, I've been battling servere Psoriatic arthritis and lymphedema for a number of years now. I'm hopeful that my eventual weight loss and surgery to help with the lymphedema will make things much better... Right now, mobility is a real issue. I've used a cane for a few years and have had to use a hand me down electric scooter for about 6 months or so. I use it at the store and at work as I just cannot walk for any real length of time without severe pain.  I'm going to be medicated for the arthritis again soon (fingers crossed), but I need to upgrade the scooter that I'll likely need for at least the coming year. Regrettably, insurance may not pay and I certainly cannot afford it on my own. I don't like asking for help, but I'm gonna swallow my pride and hope that my friends and family will be willing to contribute and/or share this campaign to help raise the funds. I will be donating my old scooter if I'm successful in getting a new one and I will eventually donate the new one WHEN I am no longer in need of it. That WILL happen! I will be starting DDPY soon if anyone wants to join me... More info to follow on that. I cannot tell you what a difference this would make in my life!
