Matthew's Serious Medical Need

I'm Sherrie Riddle, the mother of Matthew Riddle.  He has been an Army Reservist since 2006.  He moved from the MS Gulf Coast to Manhattan, KS area (Ogden, KS to be exact) in August, 2014, where he was able to obtain two part-time jobs within a couple of weeks.   After working only a short time, he began having severe abdominal pain and was diagnosed with a hernia.  At one point, he passed out at home.  When he came to, he drove himself to the Ft. Riley Post ER at the suggestion of me and his wife.  He was then sent via ambulance to a local hospital in Manhattan, KS where they determined he has also has an undiagnosed intestinal bleed.

Since he has been semi-diagnosed, he has been trying to work and stay on top of his bills and pay for the move; however, he seems to keep ending back up in the ER from the severe pain, low hemoglobin and/or throwing up.  He has made three visits to the ER and one week in the hospital.  He is now in the Kansas City Hospital (his second hospital visit) where he was taken by ambulance on 10/21/14.  We are not sure how long he will be there.  Unfortunately, his bills will continue to grow as will the medical bills he will incure from any procedures and all the test.

Matthew works so hard, gives so much,  and asks for so little in return. The goal is just a number.  I am sure it will be more than this.  Any amount is appreciated to help him get back on his feet.
