I am trying to raise some money for a sister who has been suffering all her life from an illness and has lost one of her eyes.
Sidiqa, who is in her mid-20s, has been diagnosed with diabetes when she was only three months old. She has been living with the illness all her life.
Both of her kidneys have stopped working in recent months and has ever since been receiving dialysis at least twice a week, which has been draining on her and has made her really weak and fragile.
Sidiqa needs help to pay the hospital fee and other medical costs for a possible kidney transplant in Afghanistan.
A kidney transplant is possible, however, the cost is too high for her family in Afghanistan to afford . The Doctors in Afghanistan has given her an estimate of $15K for both kidney and other medical procedures.
I get it. We all work hard for our money. All of us have bills and obligations some may even live paycheck to pay check ( I did it for a while). This burden could not be taken by 1 or 2 or even 10 people. However, if 1000 of my friends donate only $10, which I think is within our budget, we can reach our goal of raising 10K for her.
Let’s help a fellow human being, a sister and a woman in need.
This could happen to anyone of us. We are lucky that we live in a country where we have opportunities to make money for our family needs. Some are not that lucky. As a way of showing our gratefulness to God, let’s share some of that money and help someone in dire need.
