Funds for Freddie

My name is Claire McLaughlin and I'm writing this to let you know about 4month old son Freddie.

Freddie was born premature after a very difficult pregnancy and as a result is now suffering from a severe malformation of his skull called positional utero plagiocephaly. If left untreated this condition can lead to him losing his hearing, sight and suffering further damage to his brain.

There is no treatment available in Ireland so we are being forced to travel abroad to help our baby boy. To our absolute shock, our government does not even cover the cost of his treatment as its too rare.

Our family and friends are all eager to help and came up with the lovely idea of holding a night to raise funds for Freddie's treatment. We plan to keep it simple with a music foodand a sponsored leg waxing undertaken by Freddie's dad and uncles.
